SMART FEED ADDITIVES AND AQUA EXPERTISE TO BOOST THE BLUE REVOLUTION

In aquaculture, a wide variety of species of fish and shrimp are farmed. Therefore, understanding species-specific problems is the starting point of true innovation in Adisseo. That’s exactly what our multidisciplinary team of nutritionists, micro-biologists, veterinaries and feed technologists focuses on: the development of species-specific solutions for aquaculture.

Before entering the market, our feed additives have proven their efficacy under conditions which are directly relevant to the producer in terms of feed formulation, feed processing and species choice. For achieving this, we use state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including uptodate analytical methodologies to detect active compounds, pilot scale equipment for the production of fish and shrimp feeds, and aquaculture test centers.

Adisseo is committed to support the rapid expansion of the aquaculture industry. We do so through specialized services and field experienced professionals. Our senior aqua feed experts provide world-wide expertise in formulation and processing of aqua feeds, and farm-to-fork insight in the aquaculture food chain. We invite you to share practical experiences with our Aqua experts and let them help increase the productivity and profitability of your operation.

APPLIED RESEARCH HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE BASIS OF OUR EXISTENCE IN THE ADDITIVE MARKET IN AQUACULTURE

Being a global specialist in aquaculture additives, we are confronted with a highly fragmented business covering a wide diversity of aquaculture species, feed formulations, farm technologies, and diseases. We perform applied research in collaboration with specialized test centers and academic partners, but also selected customers, to develop and optimize the application of our solutions. Furthermore, Adisseo is building a dedicated team for R&D and Innovation in Aquaculture and recently inaugurated the Aquaculture Station by Adisseo, a RAS test facility at St Johns Island. These significant investments in R&D capabilities in aquaculture enhance Adisseo’s capacity in applied research but particularly allow to focus on long-term innovation projects, key to remain a leader in specialty additives for aquaculture.
