Missions of the job

You will be giving technical support to the demand of all products in Adisseo’s portfolio that are used in the poultry and swine diets by field testing specialty and new products, contributing to the positioning and realization of technical marketing documents, and by technical development of new market niches for existing products.

 

 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Conduct and statistically analyze university/field trials for monogastrics specialty and new products
  • Contribute to the technical positioning of products in poultry/swine industry
  • Stay up-to-date with scientific literature by keeping the Product Manager and Business Managers abreast of scientific information relevant to Adisseo’s business and products
  • Develop expertise in enzyme, and other additives applied to nutrition as related to poultry and swine in order to provide “cutting-edge” technical support to customers and sales
  • Develop technical marketing ideas to expand existing market niches and enter new markets

Main Skills

HARD SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical (sales) position in the feed industry is required, even in other fields than animal nutrition
  • Practical knowledge/work experience of monogastrics management and nutrition
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (orally and written)
  • Other language knowledge is a plus
  • Good understanding of business issues and processes
  • Open to work 60% of the time in the field

SOFT SKILLS

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, written, and computer)
  • Experience with a CRM package (preferably Sales Force) is a plus
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work within a team environment

EDUCATION

  • Veterinarian or Agriculture degree
  • Master in monogastric nutrition is desirable
