You work closely with the Global Category Manager to develop and execute strategic business plans for our Palatability product line. Your role involves overseeing both operational and strategic product management, ensuring the success and growth of the product line.
You are responsible for managing the product lifecycle, optimizing costs and quality, driving innovation initiatives to meet both short-term and long-term targets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you ensure alignment with strategic goals and contribute to effective market execution and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Profit Growth Strategy: Lead the profitable growth strategy to expand market share in the Palatability category.
- Portfolio & Product Development: Establish portfolio priorities, drive product development tailored to species-specific needs, and oversee successful product and service launches.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Manage global demand planning and forecast accuracy, collaborating closely with regional and operational teams to ensure seamless supply.
- Cost Competitiveness: Enhance cost efficiency by aligning with Operations on best practices.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and implement a powerful Go-to-Market strategy with competitive pricing in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, cohesive relationships with stakeholders across the SBU and Adisseo to drive strategic alignment and execution.
Main Skills
Profile requirements:
- Expertise in Palatability Solutions: Deep understanding of palatability solutions for livestock markets globally.
- B2B Business Experience: Proven minimum 10 years’experience in business management or sales within a B2B environment, ideally within animal nutrition.
- International Collaboration: Demonstrated success in working within diverse, global teams, navigating complex, cross-cultural settings.
- Fluency in English: Required; additional languages are a plus.
- Customer-Focused Leader: Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly and engage customers; skilled at synthesizing information to make well-informed, strategic decisions.
- Problem Solver and Innovator: Proactive in addressing challenges with creative, impactful solutions that align with business objectives.
