Key responsabilities
As the Global Commercial Excellence Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving both commercial and business excellence. Your role will involve designing, planning, and implementing innovative commercial processes, projects, and initiatives aimed at maximizing our top-line and bottom-line results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the design and execution of commercial strategies that align with our business goals. You will be responsible for setting clear objectives and implementing corrective actions for GKMs, ensuring we stay ahead of market trends and business needs.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient commercial processes to enhance productivity and profitability. This includes establishing KPIs and performance management processes, delivering reliable and timely insights, and assessing sales effectiveness and productivity.
- Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives that drive commercial excellence and business growth. You will play a critical role in shaping Sales and Marketing strategic decisions, designing and monitoring commercial approaches and results to drive success.
- Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to optimize performance. As the owner of the Global Sales Incentive Compensation Plan, you will lead the annual plan setting, oversee administration (including payouts and exceptions), and drive continuous improvement in incentive structures.
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate on pricing plans, set targets, and ensure global consistency. You will co-develop and execute a comprehensive pricing plan, setting pricing targets and margins across product lines and global markets in collaboration with commercial directors. Your efforts will ensure pricing consistency and alignment globally through effective cross-functional collaboration.
Main Skills
Profile required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, or Business Management, ideally complemented by a relevant post-graduate business or commercial qualification.
- Over 10 years of experience encompassing sales operations, sales leadership/management, key account management, and/or commercial excellence roles within a large, matrixed organization.
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com best practices and capabilities and omnichannel and digital marketing.
- Advanced skills in negotiating and influencing with demonstrated ability to partner and lead across global, matrixed, and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is essential.
