The Specialties Business Unit at Adisseo is actively seeking a dynamic and proactive Financial Controller. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Product Managers and Finance team to ensure robust financial oversight and drive strategic decision-making. Your contributions will be essential in monitoring financial performance and guiding our business towards continued success.

 

As such your key responsibilities are:

 

• Performance Monitoring: You are responsible for tracking key financial metrics like Sales, EBITDA, and Free Cash Flow (FCF). You prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly business reviews, complete with KPIs and dashboards. When deviations arise, you alert business managers and support them in planning corrective actions. Additionally, you coordinate the forecasting process and contribute to the development of the business plan and budget

 

• Expense Management: you analyze OPEX, CAPEX, and raw material costs, monitor SG&A and R&D expenses, and optimize cost structures with plant controllers.

 

• Production Cost Control: you analyze and identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor labor, materials, and overhead, and optimize processes to reduce waste and improve yield.

 

• Reporting and Decision Support: you provide financial insights to top management and assess the financial impacts of business decisions.

 

• System and Data Maintenance: you update product and cost structures in financial systems to ensure data accuracy.

Main Skills

Profile required:

 

You hold a Master’s degree in Finance or Controlling and bring over 5 years of experience in financial controlling and auditing within an international setting. Your expertise includes managing financial controls at the business unit or entity level.

 

You excel in working effectively within a matrix organization and a multicultural environment, seamlessly interfacing with cross-functional teams. Your strong financial technical background supports this capability.

 

Customer-centric and business-savvy, you communicate effortlessly with a wide range of stakeholders. You are fluent in English, and proficiency in another language such as Spanish or Chinese would be a valuable asset.

 

Your mastery of SAP and knowledge of industrial controlling further enhance your qualifications.
