Missions of the job
The Project Production Engineer is accountable for leading and structuring the timely technical project implementation, ensuring the respect of Adisseo’s levels of safety, quality, and cost. This means you will manage the production department, warehouse and technical department in all areas.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You represent and defend the interests of the future users (operation and maintenance) of the installation
- You define the operator’s needs and are responsible for the integration of the project into the department and the associated communication
- Guarantor of operator training and their authorizations
- Guarantor of the application of good HSE practices in operations
- You contribute to the drafting of the specifications with the project manager and you validate them
- You challenge and validate documents issued by (external) engineering parties
- You carry out the commissioning and accept the installation
- You validate the conformity of the project in relation to the specifications
- You provide the contractors with a detailed design and planning including technical and functional specifications
- You make and execute a rigid safety plan in collaboration with the contractors according to Adisseo’s zero accident policy
- You ensure that the facilities comply with local regulations as set in the environmental permit
- You optimize cooperation between procurement, logistics and production
- You ensure that the industrial design of the site will be able to cope with more products and higher production (debottlenecking) in the future
- You have a strong focus on QHSE management
Main Skills
- Minimum 5 years of comparable experience in a production supervising position is required, even in other fields than Animal Nutrition
- Good technical knowledge of production of blending dry/dry and liquid/liquid and liquid/dry mixtures in Feed
- Strong focus on QHSE management
- Project Management skills : you have the ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- You have the ability to get things done and to prioritize
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with cross-functional interfaces
- IT knowledge of SAP/ECC or 4HANA (Material Management, Production Planning) and Power BI
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Dutch & English are mandatory in speaking and writing
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience in Industrial Project Management for at least 2 years
- Knowledge of QHSE regulations and requirements
- Energetic, well-organized, self-Initiated and coordination skills
- Good process understanding
- Preferably a master degree in engineering or equivalent by experience
